Things You Need To Know About Sleep
Over the last two decades we have started to understand what happens when we sleep. At least at the biology and neuroscience level. There’s still a lot to learn about our consciousness, but that may be an interesting topic for another podcast.
Sleep has become a super power, according to the neuroscientist Matthew Walker. So much happens when we sleep from sorting out the days information, resorting previous memories, and also the tremendous amount of ‘maintenence’ which goes on whilst we sleep.
In this podcast I am joined by Frances Taylor – The Sleep Fixer, to talk about how to get a good sleep and discuss some of the things our brain and body does to keep when sleep.
Frances started out in here work helping people and organisation address fatigue, stress, and improve their wellbeing. Over the years she spent more time ‘fixing’ sleep for people which led her to training in CBTi – Cognative Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia.
Frances shares her experience in helping people improve their sleep and feel more refreshed and ready for the day ahead.
